ballet russes at the v&a

just thought i'd share my sketchbook pages that i did as i was walking around the ballet russes exhibition in the v&a, it was really interesting and the patterns and colours were nice and fun!

i saw this piece by russian artist natalia goncharova, i really love it (you can see parts of it copied out on one of the sketchbook pages haha). it was her set design for the firebird ballet. so beautiful!
